All Programs are run by a certified Personal Trainer and Run Coach

 

Do you want to learn how to run?  Or maybe you already run and you want to learn how you can improve your running?  Or you want to get back into running after taking a break?

 

Helping people learn how to run better with less risk of injury is a passion of mine!  I’ll work with you to help you improve form, pace and strength and will help you reach your running goals.  

 

Run Coach Programs:

 

In Person Group Training with a goal race of The CIBC Run for the Cure Airdrie hosted by Alive Fitness on October 26th.  Free race registration – join here (click on Find a Team and enter Smart Fit Personal Training) .

 

Learn To Run Clinic:  Sept 2nd – October 24th Tuesday and Thursday’s from 6:00-6:45 pm at East Lake Park in Airdrie – This 8 week program will help you go from a walker to a runner safely and effectively, it is designed for beginners.  You’ll learn running form and technique as well as strength training to help prevent injuries.  Tuesday nights will be a group run led by Shannon Nail and Thursday’s will be a group strength training focused on exercises that will make you a stronger and injury proof runner.  16 classes, Investment $90.

 

Run Faster Clinic:  Sept 2nd – October 24th Tuesday and Thursday’s from 6:00-6:45 pm at East Lake Park in Airdrie – This 8 week program is designed for individuals who are already running or doing walk/run intervals who want to improve their running and increase their speed.  Tuesday nights will be a group run led by Jaclyn Ung that will vary each week and will include speed, strength and endurance work, there will also be a focus on form and technique.  Thursday’s will be a group strength training class that will focus on exercises that are designed to help you run stronger and faster with less risk of injury.  Included is a progressive 5k run program to do between sessions designed to help you increase speed and endurance on race day.  16 classes, Investment $129.

These programs will both run at the same time as the kids run club with Alive Fitness – sign up your kids and yourself to run together on October 26th!  

 

Online Training:

 

Run More, Walk Less Program:  This is an 8 week online program designed to help you increase your speed, strength and endurance with run and strength workouts in a progressive 5k training plan.  If you’re ready to learn how to run better, improve your form and technique and get faster while reducing your risk of injury this is the program for you!  Next program starts on September 23rd and runs for 8 weeks, investment $197.  

 

Customized one on one run coaching:  Personalized coaching designed for your specific goals.  Want to run a half marathon?  Or your first full marathon?  Or move from a 5k up to a 10k?  Or maybe you’re training for you first Spartan Race?  I’ll work with you to design a run and strength program that works for your schedule and goals.  Programs start at $147.
